Assignment 3: Final Project

Description

Find a creative project idea that:
employs motion capture technology
results in a short recorded animation (10 to 30 seconds) or a playable interactive animation.

By the proposal due date/time, submit a project proposal (one to two pages) to Project 3 proposal folder and link it to your process book as well. In your proposal you should:
describe your project goal, method and end product
include references (e.g., reference pictures, articles, books, and/or tutorials)

On work-in-progress presentation dates, bring your project and present your progress in class.

By the finished project’s due date/time, create a folder for your group in Project 3 folder and submit your project into the folder. Be ready to present your finished project for a critique in class on the final day.

Fill in Peer Evaluation Form and email it to the instructor by the assignment’s final due date.

If your group’s final project is similar to Project 1, submit:

Character rig with skin (and controls if any) but without motion (.mb file)

Character rig’s skeleton only — no skin, no control, no motion (.fbx or .mb file)

Mocap data baked on the capture subject’s skeleton (.fbx file)
